9 months old!

Reagan went to the doctor's office for her 9-month check-up appointment yesterday.

She weighs 18 pounds, 10 ounces and is in the 55th percentile for her weight.

She is 27.5 inches long and is in the 50th percentile.

Her head circumference is 17.5 inches.

Reagan is not crawling yet, but she enjoys her "tummy time" a lot more now and is starting to move backwards and to both sides while on her stomach.

She loves standing up against a table (ALMOST on her own!) and play with Smarties candies, the monogrammed coasters given to us by the Haslee family at my bridal shower, and her makeup mirror toy from her Grandma Susan.

She sits up on her own, and loves the view from this position so she can see what everyone's doing, including her big brother, Hank, who always makes her laugh when he shakes his toys!

Reagan likes to make her "bah bah bah" sounds and shrieks loudly when she gets excited!

She continues to sleep through the night, which makes her parents happy.  She goes to bed at 8 or 9 and wakes up right at 6:00 AM.

The doctor said that Reagan was a healthy 9-month old baby.  He suggested that we use sunscreen when we take her outside in the hot Tennessee summer weather.  The doctor was not worried that Reagan was not walking yet.  He asked me to put Reagan on her belly in his office, and he saw that she had good belly strength and arm strength to pull herself up a little, so he was happy with her progress.
