It is David's 34th birthday. It is Reagan's 16-week birthday. And, it's the last day that David and I will have a grandmother at our apartment to help take care of Reagan... yikes! That means that next Monday, December 1st when we return from the Thanksgiving Break, that Reagan will begin her first day at the local daycare center!
We feel grateful that both my mom travelled down from Wisconsin and David's mom travelled down from Indiana to leave their homes and live with us for a few weeks at a time to take care of Reagan while David continued working and I returned to work on Oct. 20th when my maternity leave ended. It made my transition to work easier, so the fact that we were unable to get a spot in the daycare center until December for Reagan ended up being a blessing. It made life easier for me and David, and Reagan got to know both of her grandmothers really well. Now, we are eager for the holiday break in December, so we can visit with all of her extended family members!
Grandma Susan said that Reagan started to enjoy tummy time today! She normally does not like it and becomes frustrated easily, but she needs to strengthen those legs!
