Max's 2nd weight check-up appointment

I took Max to the pediatrician's office again this morning because the pediatrician wanted the nurse to check to see that he was gaining weight since last week.

It was a quick and successful appointment!  Max weighed 8.0 pounds this morning!  The pediatrician wanted him to gain at least 1.5 ounces and weigh at least 7 pounds, 14.5 ounces by today, and if he weighed 8, that would be great.

I wasn't worried nor surprised that Max gained the weight because he had been eating just about every 1.5 hours the past few days.  Even with the extra weight, Max still has his long, skinny legs!  We return to the pediatrician's office in a month for his next check-up appointment.

Max's legs look shiny because his skin was drying up recently, and the nurse recommended that we use the Eucerin Aquaphor healing ointment to moisturize his legs and belly.
