We want to thank Ryan, David's brother, and his girlfriend, Amanda, for visiting us this past weekend! They drove down from West Lafayette, Indiana.
Ryan helped with a few projects around our apartment. Reagan and I showed Ryan and Amanda the mall where we did some shopping and walking around. They babysat Reagan for a good chunk of the weekend, so that Mama Peaches could get in a few naps, write some emails and catch up on work, and even get in a few runs outside!
We ordered some Thai food from our favorite local restaurant, "Taste of Thai," on Saturday night, and it was delicious! We're hoping that we'll still be in Knoxville in a few years, so that Reagan can enjoy this delicious food!
Amanda was a champ when she offered to burp Reagan, and, unfortunately for Amanda, Reagan was EXTREMELY gassy this weekend, and did the biggest spit-up that I had seen yet from our little girl onto Amanda's shirt. Reagan was a burping and farting machine this weekend, not very lady-like, but I was happy that she was getting it out of her system. I'm convinced that Reagan is having a growth spurt, and this was just part of the process.
Ryan even set up the baby monitor on the wall for us to use very soon in 1-2 months when we move Reagan to the crib in the nursery/guest room.
Thanks to Amanda and Nancy, David's mom, for their gift of Reagan's new green headband and socks. Very few of the several pairs of socks that Reagan has actually fit her tiny feet, but these socks were PERFECT. Her toes are often cold, so I'm sure she loves that she has this snug pair of socks now!
Reagan started crying because she didn't want to see them go!
